James Storm (rower)
James "Jim" Eugene Storm (born February 2, 1941 in San Diego ) is a former American rower .
James Storm from the San Diego Rowing Club was the tallest athlete who was not part of the basketball team, measuring 2.02 m in the American team in 1964. Storm competed in a double scull with Seymour Cromwell and won the silver medal two and a half seconds behind the Soviet double scull with Oleg Tyurin and Boris Dubrowski . Two years later, Seymour and Storm won the silver medal at the 1966 World Championships behind the Swiss Melchior Bürgin and Martin Studach . At the Pan American Games in 1967 Storm won together with James Dietz .
In 1971 Storm graduated from the University of California with a degree in medicine and then worked as a psychiatrist.
