Jamie Nieto
Jamie Nieto (born November 2, 1976 in Seattle ) is an American high jumper and actor.
He had his breakthrough in 2003 when he became US champion and came seventh at the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis . The following year it increased to 2.32 m in the hall on February 11 in Weinheim . At the US eliminations for the Olympic Games in Athens , he won with 2.33 m and was then fourth in the Olympic competition with his personal record of 2.34 m.
In 2007 he was national runner-up, but failed in qualifying at the 2007 World Cup in Osaka. The following year he was again US runner-up, but missed the qualification for the Olympic Games in Beijing because he only met the A standard of 2.30 m after the deadline set by the association.
In 2013 he ended his career as an athlete. Since 2009 he has also appeared as an actor. So he was u. a. 2013 in the movie U-Bahn - Next Stop: Terror to see.
Jamie Nieto is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University .
