Jamin Winans

Jamin Winans (born December 4, 1977 in Fort Wayne , Indiana ) is an American director , screenwriter , film editor and composer .

Winans was born in Fort Wayne Indiana and moved to Colorado with his family in the early 1980s when he was five . As a child he grew up without television and the first movie he saw made him want to make films himself. Winans made several short films since 2003 , before making his first feature film at 11:59 in 2005 . The feature film Ink followed in 2009 . In 2014 he released the film The Frame . He is married to Kiowa Winans , with whom he founded the film production company Double Edge Films , which has produced his previous films.
