Jan-Hendrik Wohlers

Jan-Hendrik Wohlers (* 1970 / 1971 in Bad Oldesloe ) is a former German American football poker players.

career

Wohlers was a founding member of the Stormarn Vikings American football team in 1990. In 1994 the 1.87 meter tall linebacker moved to the Hamburg Blue Devils . Until 2003 he was part of the team that won the final of the German championship ( German Bowl ) four times and the Eurobowl three times . Wohlers also played for the German national team, at the 2001 European Championship he was European champion with the selection of the American Football Association Germany (AFVD) and second in 2000. From June 2002 he was press spokesman for the Blue Devils.

Wohlers, who worked as an insurance salesman and occasionally made appearances as a comedian, worked as a trainer for the Hamburg Eagles (from 2004, then head trainer from 2005) and Hamburg Amazons , at the AFVD regional association Hamburg he passed on his experience in trainer training. In addition, from 2007 he was a defense coordinator on the coaching staff of the Schleswig-Holstein state youth team.
