Jan Błędowski (pln. [ Jan bwɛ̃ˈdɔfski] , Ger . Jan Bledowski ; born July 11, 1954 in Poland ) is a Polish violinist and composer living in Germany .

Błędowski is the founder and leader of the Polish rock band Krzak, active since 1972, with roots in Katowice . In addition, he is considered to be one of the most talented violinists of his generation. In Poland he played and recorded albums with, among others, Czesław Niemen , Antymos Apostolis and the rock bands SBB and Republika . In Germany there was cooperation with groups such as the Blues Express , the Blues Power Orchestra , Tide and Schau Pau .

In addition to regular appearances in combination with changing musicians from Europe and North America , Błędowski runs a music school in Düren with a focus on piano playing .
