Jan Bagiński (born June 18, 1932 in Kamionka , Poland , today in Wolyn Oblast , Ukraine , † May 19, 2019 in Opole ) was a Polish clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Opole .

Life

The Bishop of Częstochowa , Zdzisław Goliński , ordained him on June 17, 1956 as a priest .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Tagarata and auxiliary bishop in Opole on July 8, 1985 . He was ordained bishop by the Polish primate , Józef Cardinal Glemp , on August 15 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Henryk Roman Cardinal Gulbinowicz , Archbishop of Breslau , and Alfons Nossol , Bishop of Opole.

On August 14, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
