Jan Braren
Jan Braren (* 1968 in Hamburg ) is a German screenwriter .
Jan Braren studied philosophy, psychology, public law and history in Hamburg and Kiel. After completing his studies, he founded an office for cultural production and mediation with 5D . In 2008 he graduated from the Hamburg Film School as a screenwriter.
In 2012 he was awarded the Grimme Prize for the book of the film Homevideo . In 2020 he, together with Marc Blöbaum and Kilian Riedhof , won the German Script Award for the script Meinen Hass .
