Jan Bury (politician, 1942)
Jan Bury (born February 20, 1942 in Băhrineşti , Romania ) is a Polish politician and since 2007 a member of the Sejm in the VI . Electoral term.
Life
He finished his studies at the Natural History University of Wroclaw and specialized in the field of melioration and hydraulic engineering . He worked in the National Audit Office (Najwyższa Izba Kontroli - NIK) from the 1970s until he retired in 1994.
Bury runs the “Jan Paweł II” youth welfare foundation on a voluntary basis , which looks after more than 400 young people in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship .
In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Krosno constituency with 6652 votes on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS) a member of the Sejm. He is a member of the Sejm Commissions for State Control and Social Policy and Family.
