Jan Franssen (1988)

Jan Franssen (born June 11, 1951 in Hilversum ) is a Dutch politician of the Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie .

Life

From 1982 to 1994 Franssen was a member of the Second Chamber of the States General . From 1994 to 2000 Franssen succeeded Loek Hermans as mayor of Zwolle . From 2000 to 2013 Franssen was David Luteijn's successor as the king's commissioner for the province of South Holland .
