Jan Jaszczanin
Jan Jaszczanin (lit. Janas Jaščaninas ; born January 4, 1940 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian sports educator.
Life
He graduated from Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas in 1964 and received his PhD in biology in 1983 . From 1968 to 1981 he taught at the Vilniaus inžinerinis statybos institutas and since 1981 at the Lietuvos kūno kultūros institutas (since 1999: Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademija ). From 1981 to 1986 he was head of the chair for sports theory and methodology, from 1986 to 1991 of the chair for physiology and biochemistry . He has been a professor since 1991 and still teaches at the University of Szczecin in Poland .
