The University of Szczecin ( Polish Uniwersytet Szczeciński ; lat. : Universitas Stetiniensis ) is the largest university in the Polish city of Szczecin ( Szczecin ). Although the University of Szczecin was only founded in 1984 (its predecessor was the Stettin Pedagogical Academy), with 32,000 students it is one of the largest universities in the country.
Within nine faculties, the university offers a total of 26 subjects in direct, evening and weekend courses. The rector of the university is Edward Włodarczyk .
