Jan Karel Kovář
Jan Karel Kovář (German: Johann Karl Kovář ; also: Kowarz ; * ~ 1709 in Prague , Bohemia , † January 11, 1749 ibid) was a Bohemian fresco artist .
Jan Karel Kovář was a student of the painter Johann Adam Schöpf . In 1735 he acquired the citizenship of the Lesser Town in Prague . In 1736 he was accepted as a member of the Lesser Town Painters Brotherhood. He created numerous frescoes for churches in Prague and Bohemia.
