Jan Kolata (* 1949 in Immenstadt ) is a German painter .

Jan Kolata was born in Immenstadt in 1949. He grew up in Düsseldorf , studied archeology in Bonn in 1969/70 , from 1970 to 1977 he was at the Düsseldorf Art Academy , from 1975 as a master student of Erich Reusch . Jan Kolata lives in Düsseldorf.
