Jan Kullmann

Jan Kullmann (born August 17, 1978 in Düsseldorf ) is a German countertenor .

He studied early music at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague . In addition to numerous cantatas , his repertoire includes the great works by Johann Sebastian Bach such as the Christmas Oratorio, the St. Matthew and St. John Passions.

From the end of 2005 to the middle of 2006 he appeared in the modern music theater piece Biest by DW v. Kepler in over 30 performances in the Netherlands. In April 2006 he performed in the Herkulessaal in Munich with the Regensburger Domspatzen and Concerto Köln (conductor: Domkapellmeister Roland Büchner ) in Bach's St. Matthew Passion.
