Jan Lublinski

Jan Lublinski (* 1968 ) is a German science journalist .

Life

After studying physics , Lublinski volunteered at Sender Free Berlin . He then worked for Frankfurter Rundschau , Süddeutsche Zeitung , ARD , Deutschlandfunk , Bild der Wissenschaft and Geo . Around 2004 he did his doctorate at the University of Dortmund with a thesis on science journalism in radio.

Between 2000 and 2005 he moderated the magazine Mensch, Umwelt, Technik for Deutsche Welle . He is also the author of a large number of articles for the Deutschlandfunk format “ Forschungs aktuell” and its Sunday edition, Wissenschaft im Brennpunkt .

From 2006 to 2013 he worked as a consultant for a mentoring program for science journalists in Africa and the Middle East (SjCOOP). In addition, he works as a moderator and consultant on topics from science, development cooperation and evaluation, including at the Deutsche Welle Academy.

Jan Lublinski lives in Bonn.
