Jan Olsson (football player, 1942)
Jan "Janne" Olsson (born March 30, 1942 in Halmstad ) is a former Swedish football player .
Career
Olsson played for Åtvidabergs FF in the Allsvenskan in the 1960s and 1970s . With the club, the defender was twice champion and cup winner. In the 1973/74 European Cup he failed with the club on penalties at the eventual title winner FC Bayern Munich , the following season he drew the shorter in the quarter-finals against FC Barcelona .
Olsson made 17 appearances for the Swedish national team . With the national selection he took part in the 1974 World Cup, in which the team, which started as an outsider, surprisingly moved into the second group phase.
