Status: end of career

Jan Vojáček (born December 28, 1981 in Olomouc ) is a former Czech football player .

Career

Vojáček started playing football at the age of five at the Olomouc club SK Hodolany. At the age of nine, the goalkeeper moved to the junior division of Sigma Olmütz . As a youngster, he made his first appearance in the then third-class B team in the 2000/01 season.

Because he was not used there regularly, however, he moved to FK Horka nad Moravou in the 4th league in the summer of 2001 in order to collect match practice. After only one season, the goalkeeper went to the then third division team SK UNEX Uničov, where he stayed for four years while completing a medical degree.

Then Vojáček returned to Olomouc and came in the 2006/07 season on 18 first division appearances. In the summer of 2007, Sigma Olomouc signed Petr Drobisz as the new number one. Vojáček sat on the bench and only played in the B team. Unsatisfied with the situation, the keeper switched to the Slovak first division team Spartak Trnava in winter 2007/08 . There he came to five missions in March 2008, but was then on the sidelines.

Vojáček then moved to the Czech second division club FC Vysočina Jihlava in summer 2008 . The goalkeeper played there regularly, but received no new contract offer after a year. For the 2008/09 season Vojáček went to the Scottish third division club FC Dumbarton . First he signed there until the end of December 2009, then his contract was extended until the end of the season. In the summer of 2010 he ended his career.
