Jana Malknechtová

Jana Malknechtová (born August 19, 1940 ) is a Czech actress and singer.

Life

Malknechtová made some singing experiences in dance orchestras in Teplice and Ústí nad Labem (Aussig), where she was interested in swing. After a further stop in a puppet theater in the Ore Mountains , she came to the Prague cabaret Semafor (which was critically observed by the Communist Party ), where she worked from September 1, 1962 to July 31, 1965. Originally she was supposed to replace the then already popular singer Eva Pilarová , who made a guest appearance in the Rokoko Theater between 1962 and 1964 . In Semafor she recorded some hits (especially Theo, já tě mám tolik ráda ). In addition to the Semafor performances (such as Šest žen ), she also played in the film musical Kdyby tisíc Klarinetů , Konkurs and Lov na mamuta .

After she got married, she emigrated to Sweden and ended her career in Czechoslovakia.
