Jana Sergejewna Noskowa ( Russian Яна Сергеевна Носкова ; born February 2, 1994 in Moscow ) is a Russian table tennis player . She represented her country at the 2012 Olympics . She is right-handed and uses the European shakehand style. She took part in the 2013 Universiade .

Career

Internationally, Noskowa first appeared in 2011 for the youth sector. At the European Youth Championships, she won the gold medal with the team and in the individual. Further appearances in the youth, but also in the adult area followed in 2012.

She qualified for the Olympic Games through outstanding performance. Here she reached the second round, where she lost to Cornelia Molnar. At the Universiade she won the bronze medal with the Russian team, in the individual she could only reach the quarterfinals.

In 2014 the Russian was able to beat the Czech Republic, Poland and Croatia at the World Cup as part of the team , but lost in the further course of the tournament. In 2015 she took part in the Belgium Open, among others. Here she met the defender Suh Hyo-won in the semifinals , who she had to admit defeat 0-4.

At the World Championships in Suzhou , she took part in the mixed competition with Grigori Vlasov , Lospech ensured that they met the eventual winners Xu Xin and Yang Ha-eun and lost in the second round . At the European Championships in 2016, she lost to Sabine Winter , where she was placed two places ahead of her. In 2017 she was active in the Premier League.

Play style

Jana Noskowa is right-handed and an attacker. She uses the Tenergy 05 as a forehand rubber, as well as the Butterfly Innerforce T5000 on the backhand and as a blade. She is known for good serves.
