Jana Voigtmann

Jana Voigtmann (born March 13, 1984 ) is a German badminton player .

Career

Jana Voigtmann learned to play with badminton with the Luckenwalder Sportfüchsen, but switched to BV Tröbitz as a youth player in 1996 , where she was one of the top performers in the first team until 2003. She later started for SV GutsMuths Jena. The greatest sporting success of her career was second place at the Belgian International 2001 in women's doubles with Denise Naulin . Further international starts followed at the Austrian International 2002 , the BMW Open International 2002 and the Bitburger Open 2004 . Nationally she won bronze at the German Junior Championships of the U22 in 2005 and 2006. At the Brandenburg Championships she was twice successful.

She is currently active at SV GutsMuths Jena in the 2nd Bundesliga.
