Janaka Prasad Wimalasiri (born September 8, 1992 ) is a Sri Lankan long jumper .
Athletic career
Janaka Prasad gained his first international experience at the Asian Indoor Championships 2018 in Tehran , where he won the bronze medal behind Chinese Shi Yuhao and Lin Hung-min from Taiwan with 7.67 m . At the end of August he first took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where he finished seventh with 7.86 m. The following year he was eighth at the Asian Championships in Doha with 7.49 m.
In 2013, 2015 and 2018 Prasad became the Sri Lankan champion in the long jump.
