Lin Hung-min (born September 7, 1990 ) is a Taiwanese long jumper who sometimes competes in the sprint .

Athletic career

Lin Hung-min gained his first international experience at the 2013 Asian Championships in Pune , where he failed to make a valid attempt. He then finished seventh at the East Asian Games in Tianjin with 7.02 m, as well as at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou the following year with 7.29 m. In September he took part in the Asian Games in Incheon for the first time and was there with 7.06 m 16. In 2015 he reached 11th place at the Asian Championships in Wuhan with 7.28 m and finished at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju with 7.72 m eighth place. Two years later he was eliminated from the Asian Athletics Championships 2017 in Bhubaneswar with 7.11 m in qualification and he failed to make a valid attempt at the World Student Games in Taipei .

In 2018 he won the silver medal behind Chinese Shi Yuhao at the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran with a width of 7.72 m . In August he again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where he was eleventh with 7.53 m. The following year he finished sixth at the Asian Championships in Doha with 7.66 m and won the silver medal behind the team from Thailand in 39.18 s with the Taiwanese 4 x 100 meter relay.
