Janez Jurman is a former Yugoslav ski jumper .

Career

Jurman made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1965/66 . At the first jump on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf he achieved the best individual result of the tour with 43rd place and finished it with 619 points in 52nd place in the overall ranking. After a two-year break, Jurman started again at the Four Hills Tournament 1968/69 . Here, too, Jurman landed his most successful result in Oberstdorf with 44th place. With 637.5 points, he finished 46th at the end of the tour.

After the Four Hills Tournament 1969/70 was unsuccessful, Jurman took another break. After all, his most successful tour was his last. At the Four Hills Tournament 1973/74 he could not convince again in the first three competitions, but finished the tour on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen for the first time in the top 30 and at the end of the day came in 24th overall .

After the end of his active career, Jurman worked as a ski jumping trainer in Ljubljana .
