Janice Hally

Janice Hally (born March 18, 1959 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish writer.

Live and act

Hally graduated from Hillhead High School and studied at the University of Glasgow a . a. Drama and English Literature . In 1980 she was able to successfully complete this course. She began to write during her studies and was able to successfully debut in 1980 with her work Ready or Not at the Tron Theater in her hometown.

Since this success, Hally wrote mostly for television and u. a. responsible for the success of the Take the High Road series . While working on this series, she worked for the BBC , where she learned a.o. a. also know the writer Peter May . In 1989, Hally and May ended their editorial work on the series and married the following year.
