The Jansenryggen is a 9 km long and up to 2620 m high press ice ridge in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the north of Sivorgfjella it rises up on the Pionerflaket .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1985 after Jan Birger Jansen (1889–1984), editor of the newspaper Bulletin of the Resistance Movement against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
