The Janum Kjøt (also Egebjerg) in the Jammerbugt municipality between Bonderuo and Tranum in Han Herred on the island of Vendsyssel-Thy is one of the largest erratic boulders in Jutland in Denmark . It was brought here from Norway during the last Ice Age .

The stone consists of gneiss and granite . It is almost 7.0 meters long, 4.0 meters wide and has a maximum height of 3.5 meters. The weight is estimated at 200 to 250 tons.

If you look closely, you can see imprints of lichen (Stereocaulon evolutum) on Janum Kjøt , as they occur on rocks in Norway and Sweden, but only in a few places in Denmark.
