Janusz Mirosław Krasoń (born November 15, 1956 in Jawor ) is a Polish politician , former labor inspector and since 2001 a member of the Sejm in the IV., V. and VI . Electoral term.

In 1979 he graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Wroclaw . From 1979 to 1990 he was a member of the Polska Zjednoczona Partia Robotnicza (Polish United Workers' Party - PVAP), since 1998 he has been a member of the Socjaldemokracja Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej (Social Democracy of the Republic of Poland - SdRP) and in 1999 he switched to the Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej (Federation of Democratic Left - SLD). He was chairman of the SLD Voivodeship Council in Wroclaw from 2001 to 2004. From 1975 to 1983 he was a member of the Polish Socialist Students' Union (Socjalistyczny Związek Studentów Polskich) and from 1983 to 1989 a member of the Polish Socialist Youth Association (Związek Socjalistycznej Młodzieży Polskiej) in which he filled management functions at regional and state level. From 1983 to 1990 he worked as the deputy director of the youth, sports and tourism department at the Wroclaw Voivodeship Office.

From 1998 to 2001 he was a member of the Wroclaw City Council. In the parliamentary elections of 2001 and 2005 , he won a seat in the Sejm on the SLD's list. In 2007 he was re-elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Wroclaw via the List of Left and Democrats (LiD) with 21,490 votes. He was a member of the Sejm Commissions for State Control and Defense.

On April 22, 2008 he became a member of the Lewica parliamentary group .
