Career

Zygmuntowicz, who started for TS Wisła Zakopane , took part in international ski jumping competitions among other things in his youth. For example, he took eighth place at the 8th FIS Schoolchildren Cup in 1996 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In addition, he took part in the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2001 in Vuokatti , where he finished 29th in the individual and was twelfth with the team.

He made his first international appearance at senior level in January 2003 when he made his debut in the Nordic Combined B World Cup in Štrbské Pleso , where he clearly missed the points. He had his most successful winter in 2005/06, when he won B World Cup points several times. Nevertheless, he ended his career after the season.

At the national level, Zygmuntowicz was one of the best athletes. Between 2001 and 2006 he won eleven medals, including six championship titles.
