Jaqebmu ( Jakab'am according to another reading ) was an ancient Egyptian petty king of the Hyksos period in the 16th dynasty . So far it has only been occupied by scarabs . His proper name is of Semitic origin; the assignment of the throne name Sechaenre to Jaqebmu by William A. Ward is uncertain, since it was made only because of typological similarities between scarabs with these two names.
