Jarlsætet ( Norwegian for Jarlsitz is) a small group of Nunatakkern in East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . They rise 5 km north of the Risen and mark the northeastern extension of the Gjelsvikfjella .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960). It is named after Jarl Tønnesen, meteorologist for this expedition between 1956 and 1958.
