Jaroslav Škach (born June 27, 1975 in Prague , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech volleyball player .

Career

Škach started his career in 1985. His father, who had switched from soccer to volleyball, served as a model . When Dürener TV the Czech completed his first games in the German Bundesliga. From there he went to ASV Dachau . When the Bavarian club had to withdraw from the first division in 2002, Škach moved to VfB Friedrichshafen and won the DVV Cup . Then the SCC Berlin signed the national player as a replacement for Frank Dehne . In his first season with the Berliners, Škach became German champion . From 2005 he was captain of the team. In 2008 and 2011 he was again in the playoff final, but the SCC lost both duels against Friedrichshafen. In 2012, Škach was again German champion with Berlin . After nine years in Berlin, Škach moved to the cup finalists BOUC Volley Beauvais in the highest French league. After one season, Škach returned to his hometown Prague and played for VK Benátky nad Jizerou in the top Czech league until 2016 . At the age of 41, after 24 years of first division volleyball, he ended his sports career. In January 2019, Škach was inducted into the “BR Volleys Hall of Fame” for his services to SCC Berlin / Berlin Recycling Volleys.

Since 2015 he has been working in the food industry at Bidfood sro.
