Jarreng (spelling variant: Jareng ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 3,037 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 2,117.

Jarreng in the Central River Region in Niamina East District is located on the left bank of the Gambia River . The place is right on the South Bank Road , which bends south here.
