Jasmine Repeša

Jasmin Repeša (born June 1, 1961 in Čapljina , Yugoslavia ) is a basketball coach who has been responsible for the national team of Bosnia-Herzegovina since 2018 and was the national coach of the Croatian national basketball team from the beginning of 2006 to the end of 2009 and from 2012 to 2015 .

Repeša is a Bosniak . From his youth and until the end of his active sports career, he was a basketball player for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian basketball club Borac Čapljina . As a basketball coach, he has been active in various European countries: in Croatia , Turkey , Poland and Italy . His first club team was from 1995 to 1997 Cibona Zagreb . In 1997 he moved to the Turkish basketball league and was the coach of Tofaş Bursa . There he remained active until 2000. In 2001 there was a short coaching position in the Polish league at Śląsk Wrocław , but shortly afterwards he returned to the Croatian basketball league at Cibona Zagreb and remained there until 2002 as a club coach. In 2002 he moved to the Italian basketball league and was coach of Fortitudo Bologna from 2002 to 2006 , then from 2006 to 2008 he headed the team of Lottomatica Roma and from 2010 to 2011 that of Benetton Treviso . In 1995 he was also the assistant coach of the Croatian national basketball team . He has Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Croatian citizenship .
