The entrepreneur Jasmin Taylor (born 1966 or 1967 in Tehran ) is the founder and managing director of the Berlin tour operator JT Touristik .

Jasmin Taylor fled to Germany at the age of 17 before the war in Iran. After graduating from high school in Bonn , she lived in the USA for several years. She earned a BA in Psychology and Management from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma .

In 2002 she started her own online travel agency and founded JT Touristik in Berlin in 2009 , a tour operator focusing on the United Arab Emirates. JT Touristik today offers a total of 135 destinations worldwide, comprises a team of 65 employees and achieved a turnover of 176 million euros in 2015.

Jasmin Taylor is the first chairman of the committee "Dynamically producing tour operators " in the German Travel Association (DRV) , board member of the association for the promotion of an open tourist data standard e. V. ( OTDS ) and member of the Advisory Board of the Travel Industry Club (TIC).

She is the initiator of the organization SIS - Strong Independent Sisters. The project supports refugee women from countries like Eritrea and Syria and the like. a. through free language courses and coaching to build an independent life in Germany.

On September 29, 2017, Jasmin Taylor's JT Touristik had to file for bankruptcy. The reason given is that JT Touristik was unable to finance any follow-up insurance after Generali Rückversicherung withdrew.
