Jason Durr
Jason Durr (born December 2, 1967 in Singapore ) is a British theater and film actor . He gained national fame through his roles as Mike Bradley in the television series Heartbeat and David Hide in the television series Casualty .
Life
Durr was born in Singapore but grew up in Hong Kong . He studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and then joined the Royal Shakespeare Company .
In 1990 he had his first television role as Alex Hartmann in a total of 18 episodes of the television series Jupiter Moon . In 1991 he had the lead role in the television film Gawain and the Green Knight , based on the romance of the same name . Other roles in television films followed. From 1997 to 2003 he played the role of Mike Bradley in a total of 128 episodes of the television series Heartbeat . Since 2016 he has appeared as David Hide in the television series Casualty , and since 2019 in the offshoot Holby City in the same role.
Durr is married to the actress and television presenter Kate Charman for the second time since May 28, 2004 . The couple has three children. The family alternates between Los Angeles and the Cotswolds in England .
