Jason Haldane

Jason Haldane (born July 23, 1971 in Terrace , Canada ) is a Canadian - British volleyball player . He is 2.03 m tall and weighs over 100 kg.

During his career, Haldane played with over a dozen clubs, since 2008 with Volley Forlì (2008/09), Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza (2009/10), Çankaya Belediyesi Ankaspor (2010/11) and most recently in Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia .

From 1992 Jason Haldane played in the Canadian national team. By 2004 he completed over 300 games with the Canadian team, but could never qualify for the Summer Olympics . This changed after the 2012 Summer Olympics were awarded to London . Since his father was British, Haldane was eligible to play for the British team that was qualified as host. In 2009 he made his debut in the newly formed British national team . At the age of 41, Jason Haldane was the oldest player in the British to be eliminated after the preliminary round.
