The Jason Harbor is a 1.5 km wide bay on the north coast of South Georgia . It is west of Allen Bay on the north side of Cumberland West Bay . Your entrance is bounded by West Point to the west and Tor Point to the east.
It was mapped during the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld . It is named after the ship Jason , with which the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Carl Anton Larsen visited this bay on his Antarctic voyage from 1892 to 1894.
