The Allen Bay is a 800 m wide, semi-circular bay on the north coast of South Georgia . It is located 1.5 km west-northwest of Larsen Point in the northern part of Cumberland West Bay .
It was mapped in 1926 by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations . They named them after Harold Tuckwell Allen (1879–1950), Secretary of the Colonial Service and member of the Discovery Committee .
