Jason Lavigilante
Jason Olivier Lavigilante (born August 12, 1991 in Vacoas-Phoenix ) is a Mauritian amateur boxer and 2012 flyweight Olympian .
Boxing career
Lavigilante won the silver medal at the African Championships in 2009, including a victory against Oteng Oteng , while he was eliminated in the final against Manyo Plange . In 2010 he won the East African Championships and the silver medal at the Commonwealth Championships. He was only defeated in the final against Suranjoy Singh.
In 2012 he won the African Nations Cup in Botswana and then took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London , where he was eliminated in the first duel against Micah Duke (14:18).
