Jasper Pääkkönen (born July 15, 1980 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish actor .

Pääkkönen was born in 1980 to the Finnish actor Seppo Pääkkönen and his wife Virve Havelin. In 1988 he played his first role in the film The Glory and the Misery of Existence . From 1999 to 2002 he played in the first and only Finnish daily soap Salatut elämät radio station MTV3 a major role. In 2003 Pääkkönen was named Best Actor in the film Pahat Pojat at the Brussels International Independent Film Festival . Two years later, Pääkkönen played the leading role in the multiple award-winning drama Paha maa , which won Jussi as Best Film. Pääkkönen starred in the 2006 film Matti, about the life of the former Finnish ski jumping ace Matti Nykänen .

In 2011 he starred in the Finnish drama Love in Finnish .
