  • Single mother Marika, who has cancer, is preparing her little daughter Aurora for her possible demise. She is treated by Lauri, the desperate husband.
  • Pertti is an ambitious but unsuccessful recreational athlete. He is overweight and has been on antidepressant drugs since his wife left him. Aware of the contradictions, he tries to shape his son Teemu into a successful person. When he runs away from home, Pertti falls back into old eating habits.
  • The pupil Waltteri lives with his mother in the same house as Milla. He is bullied by his classmates. His mother has a relationship and little time for her son. When the humiliations of his schoolmates get out of hand, Waltteri finally takes up arms.
