Jaunius Simonavičius
Jaunius Simonavičius (born August 24, 1954 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian economist and former politician , Vice Minister of Finance.
Life
In 1978 Simonavičius graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Vilniaus universitetas and was then certified auditor . He worked as an economist in the Lithuanian Ministry of Finance , at " Lietuvos energija " and " Plasta " as chief finance officer, and taught at the Vilniaus universitetas . Simonavičius continued his education at the energy company " Alabama Power " in the USA, at ČEZ in the Czech Republic , at ESV in Ireland and at the directors' institute in England . He was a senior member of the Lithuanian Accounting Institute . From 2005 to July 2006 he was Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Finance.
Simonavičius is a member of LRLS .
Simonavičius is married. With his wife Jolanta he has the son Vygintas.
