Javier Cámara (born January 19, 1967 in Albelda de Iregua , La Rioja ) is a Spanish actor . He became known for his roles in the films of Pedro Almodóvar .

After supporting roles in successful productions such as Torrente - The stupid arm of the law and Lucía and sex , he became known in 2002 with the role of Benigno Martín in the drama Speak to her . From 1999 to 2001 he was seen in the television series 7 Vidas .

Since 2015, Cámara has played the chief accountant of the Colombian Cali cartel Guillermo Pallomari in the US series Narcos .

In 2018 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
