Javier Fernández Aguado

Javier Fernández Aguado (* 1961 in Madrid ) is a Spanish economist and expert in the field of management .

Life

Born in Madrid, he obtained his PhD in Economics from the Complutense University in Madrid in 1996 . His awards include the “Premio Nacional JA Artigas”, a prize for the best research in social sciences (1997). He is also the only Spanish citizen to have received the Peter Drucker Prize for Innovative Management (USA, 2008). Javier Fernandez Aguado is currently President or Chairman of MindValue.

He has also written 33 books, most of which appeared in his name in the LID Editorial collection .

He invented six models, two of which are the "Gestión de lo Imperfecto" (management of the imperfect) and "Patologías organizativas" (organized pathology) models for organized diagnosis. The others deal mainly with transformations and changes ("Feelings Management"), "Will Management" and "Dirección por Hábitos" (leadership through habits).

300 books and papers have been written analyzing his way of thinking. A dozen of them come from 6 countries in the EU and America . They were summarized in a book by the British writer Cristopher Smith (Management of the XXI Century, Reflections on the Mindset of Javier Fernandez Aguado). Eduardo Punset, Marcos Urarte and Nuria Chinchilla, among others, contributed to the book.

A symposium was held in Madrid in 2010 to analyze his theories. 600 scientists from 12 countries in the EU and America took part. Her presentations were then published in a book.
