Javier Horacio Umbides (born February 9, 1982 in Santiago del Estero ) is an Argentine football player .
Career
Umbides began professional football in 2003 at Estudiantes de Buenos Aires and played here until the summer of 2007. He only spent the 2004/05 season on loan at Defensores de Belgrano . In 2007 he left Estudiantes and played in turn for one season each with CSD Defensa y Justicia and the All Boys .
In 2009 he left his country and joined the Greek Super League to Olympiakos Volos . After two seasons he moved within the league and came to an agreement with Aris Thessaloniki .
For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Orduspor .
