Jazz West Records

Jazz West Records was an American jazz record label that existed as a sub-label of Aladdin in the mid-1950s.

The label's first releases were two 25 cm long-playing records (10-inch) by Jack Sheldon ( Get Out of Town ) in 1955. Jazz West then released further 12-inch LPs by 1957, including a. Recordings by the Jack Sheldon Quintet with Zoot Sims (1955), Kenny Drew senior ( Talkin 'and Walkin' , 1955), Paul Chambers ( Chambers' Music , 1956), the Lawrence Marable Quartet with James Clay ( Tenormen , 1956) and the Album The Return of Art Pepper (1956).
