The Jbel Amalou n'Mansour (also Jbel Amalou n'Ou Mansour ) with its 2712 m is the highest peak of the Jbel Sarhro mountain range in southern Morocco . The mountain is possibly of volcanic origin.

The Jbel Amalou n'Mansour is located about 60 km as the crow flies southwest of the city of Tinghir and about 120 km northeast of Zagora . Ikniouen is the closest village, accessible via a partly paved road .
Ascent
The mountain can be climbed from Ikniouen as part of a day tour or as part of a multi-day mountain hike - starting from N'Kob in the south or from the village of Tagdilt in the north.
