The Jbel Angour (sometimes also written Anngour ) is one of the highest mountains of the High Atlas in northwest Africa with its 3586 m summit height .
location
Jbel Angour, located in the middle of several four-thousand-meter peaks, is about 15 km (as the crow flies) northeast of Jbel Toubkal and almost 10 km (distance) southeast of the mountain village of Oukaïmeden . The winter snow on the south side regularly melts in the early summer months at the latest.
Ascent
For experienced mountain hikers, Jbel Angour is easy to climb in winter and summer on day tours from Oukaïmeden or from the village of Tacheddirt.
