Jean-Cyril Robin (born August 27, 1969 in Lannion ) is a former French cyclist .

In 1987 Jean-Cyril Robin became French junior road champion. In 1990 he won the Boucles de la Mayenne .

Robin turned pro in 1991. In 1992 he won the Grand Prix de Rennes , in the same year the Coupe de France , the overall classification of several one-day races . In 1996 he was ninth in the Giro d'Italia and fifth in the overall ranking of the Tour DuPont in the USA. At the UCI Road World Championships in Verona in 1999 , he finished third behind Óscar Freire and Markus Zberg .

In 13 years as a professional, Robin started eleven times in the Tour de France . His best finish was a sixth place in 1998 .
