Jean-Dominique Senard (born March 7, 1953 in Neuilly-sur-Seine ) is a French manager .

Life

Senard studied law in Paris. After completing his studies, he worked for the French company Total from 1979 , switched to the French company Compagnie de Saint-Gobain in 1987 and worked for the Pechiney company from 1996 to 2001 . Since May 2012 he has succeeded Michel Rollier as Chairman of the French company Michelin . Unlike its predecessors, it does not belong to the Michelin family. After leaving Michelin, Senard was elected Chairman and President of the Renault auto company on January 24, 2019 . He succeeds Carlos Ghosn , who had to vacate the post after allegations of infidelity.
